"I'm writing this letter of commendation on behalf of Stone Crest Custom Pools (Doug Johnston). I contracted Stone Crest Custom Pools in the spring of 2007 to design and build a backyard retreat that would include an outdoor kitchen, pool renovation, fire pit, fireplace, and new landscaping. I accepted design proposals from three local firms. Unlike the competition, Stone Crest's amazing design really captured the essence of what I was looking for, and their use of 3D CAD software allowed me to visualize the final project prior to construction. Design is critical but of little importance without quality construction and excellent service. These factors are what really separated Stone Crest from other contractors I've used over the years. The spring of 2007 was one of the wettest years on record, so construction on our project was slow, but Doug and his team were diligent about trying to keep to the construction on schedule. The crews were on site when they said they would be, and they always delivered high quality results. When small things needed to be corrected, Doug always made himself or one of his employees available quickly. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the construction and the customer service I received. The look of the final project far exceeded my expectations."

When we first considered converting our small backyard into a living space with a pool, we really entertained the thought almost as a joke.
